Digital battery passports to enable circular and sustainable value chains: Conceptualization and use cases

چکیده

With respect to sustainable product management, the transition circular battery value chains requires that stakeholders have access high-quality data for decision-making purposes. In such a context, digital passports (DBPs) can act as valuable source and thus enable greater sustainability circularity. The present paper presents DBP concept an electric vehicle (EVB), delineates, first time, respective information requirements needed. Development of outlined here entailed stakeholder mapping, systematic literature review, bottom-up approach. comprises 54 points, subsumed under four main categories: (1) battery, (2) circularity, (3) diagnostics, maintenance, performance, (4) chain actors. further details needed chains. addition, potential use cases distinct EVB are presented in order illustrate how may be used support management. contribution is threefold: firstly, it stimulates scientific debate concerning DBPs Secondly, concepts described this viewed guide development other serve improve management general. Thirdly, aids policymakers practitioners when implementing DBPs.
